I don't know, Chris. It depends on one primary factor - how close to MBT (Min Best Torque - i.e. the least amount of advance they can put in to make the most torque) the factory tune is. If they tuned close to that, then all the race gas and timing in the world won't make more power. What I would EXPECT is that the engines are probably somewhat close to MBT in the higher RPM range, as detonation becomes much less likely at higher RPM (for those that don't know why - flame propagation is a a constant speed, but as the cylinder moves down more quickly, volume increases relative to flame front, reducing the likelihood of a high pressure point that would induce detonation). But at the mid and lower range, there may be more opportunity there.

The one thing I have to mention to Joshua is to be careful making it too tunable. The only reason stock class cars can run aftermarket chips is because of the relative unavailability of stock ones. They are in theory not really supposed to give more power.

The two guys to whom you'd need to talk are Walt Fricke and Dave Derecola. I believe Dave posts here as Cup Daddy.

Congrats Joshua, I know you've been working on this for a long time, a very impressive achievement, as always.

Looking forward to running one in my car soon

Congratulations Joshua, very impressive. .. looks like a really nice piece of work!

I'm interested in what you would see as the pros and cons of this vs a plug n play full standalone ecu.

Was thinking of converting my 951 to E85 using your setup.

Just hard to give up a working LR MAF setup.

Now maybe I'll be thinking about a package deal.

Ditto to both! Been biting my tongue for a while now. And I am wondering the same thing - integrated Rogue Tuner? Integrated USB port? My footwell is getting pretty crammed!

I am VERY interested. Plan this winter is to keep car mods light (promised the wife the house would get new carpet) so the extent of my work is to rebuild the wiring harness in my car (it's getting really crusty). A fresh DME would make things complete IMO.

Congratulations. Fantastic news.
Please contemplate OBD II codes on the updated version so we can use all the amazing apps that are becoming available

I have not tried the EV14 injectors. But looking at their specs, I see no reason that they wouldn't work with the new computer (with appropriate dead-time).
The injectors I offer with my kits are also high impedance like the EV14s, and they work great.

OBDII that connects wirelessly via Bluetooth to your smart phone or IPad would be over the top cool!

So awesome. Thanks for all the work you have done for us. Just another reason to seperate myself from my hard earned money.
