Duke, why isn't you clutch holding up? Are there some problems with the clutch or is the toque just to much? The S2 stage 4 holds 550Nm, whereas the 951 stage 4 can handle 698Nm. Why not just change to a 951 clutch, and machine a 60-2 trigger wheel on it?

BTW: Car looks great as always. Bring it over to Norway next year, you car would be very quick at our tracks. Your car at the Nurburgring would be insanely fun. If you are ever going there I want a ride!!

Lol, it's way too low, I cannot even get outside of my garage.
I have ca 20 mm from the lowest point under the car to the ground (where the exhaust goes around the starter),

Regarding the trigger - I've run several different setups at the front of the crank and the only good solution there is the Clewett. The other variants are crap. Stock like setup at the rear is superior in every way.

The BMW runs a RB26 engine with 680 rwhp, Porsche 6&4 piston calipers, BMW E39 rear suspension etc. Everything is custom It was his first shakedown in a long time so even with his power advantage he was close to 5 sec behind. But I'm sure it will evolve to something very quick.
Best is factory setup, it's all that we use , 968 flywheel and custom clutch works well. 680 out of an RB26 is very difficult to do, to turn it down that low i mean ....

Only situation where heavier flywheel is good thing is when you start moving with the car in gear, stored energy from idle speed help the engine to maintain its rotation from inertia.

If someone explains with facts how heavier flywheel is useful during acceleration and/or throttle response on any car (be it forced induction or NA), I would be grateful.
It stores energy, think about it, with your racing experience , where or in what situation would a heavier clutch package be necessary vs lighter...

I've answered the clutch question time after time in this thread so please look back.

I was at Rudskogen in May but had issues with noise half the day and then injector issues when I finally got to go out. Damn cool track, need to go back next season!
The car would never be allowed out on the Ring which is probably for the better as I would destroy myself and the car

As it's considered a regular road everything have to be TÜV approved. You cannot even go out with a seat with big head protection etc.

The only way a real race car can go out is during actual racing events.

Those are all fabricated points by the manufacturer.. When you get one from Frontrange Fabrication the S2 PP can handle 650NM.. Clutch is not really an issue as you can just pack it with whatever material you see fit!
