Seriously, isnt 70k for the Paul Miller GTR bargain of the century then with spares for a decade a 2 extra motors, original GTR gearbox and so on...
It was bumbed in october 2012 so it might still be out there...
The Fabcar GTR does look like its developed a bit more but the Miller car is probably a beast anyway!

As far as the Fabcar being more developed.... It is my understanding that Fabcar built all the GTR's.

Unless the rules have changed, it actually is not eligible because of the non-Porsche transmission. It has a Hewland, not a Getrag.
Awesome car. And agreed, for what it is, that is a ridiculous deal. For all of the time, testing, and parts that are in that car. Not to mention the history.
Take care,

That was the one in 1981. I believe it was a 2.5 turbocharged 16V.
I could be wrong, I think with a car like this you would contact and talk with the owner quite a bit before purchase. But yes, pictures are always nice.
Yes but I think there are (or used to be) prototype classes above that. I'm not sure what the definition of 'chassis' is. Since I'm pretty sure suspension pick-up points and stuff are free, so what is a 'chassis' then?

Typically these types of cars (tube frame cars in this case) would run in the highest class where the HP was unlimited. In POC it would be GT1. There are equivalent classes in PCA, NASA, etc...
The problem is that, at least in the POC, GT1 has 1000+ HP cars. And they are stupid fast.

unfortunatly for people like me who love to build/restore racecars, build cost and market value are not the same thing ! As much as i hate it the reality is that for a large (ignorant) majority its "just" a 944/68
