Default Moving to Saudi Arabia garage sale

I am moving and need to clean out some of my accumulation of stuff. Here is the first batch. Reasonable offers will be considered. Unless noted otherwise, ground freight to the lower 48 is included. I will get some pictures uploaded soon. The upload keeps failing. Too big maybe. Note to self, keep OLD camera around so you can post to RL unless you have and can operate photo software. For now, pictures are upon request.

1987 951 connecting rods $115

Ice Shark headlight harness. Used but in good shape. This is the harness and relays only. $135 SOLD

Rear bumper end caps. In good shape, nautic in color $50
Rear bumper pads. In good shape, nice and black $50 SOLD
Rear bumper shocks, $35 for pair

H20 Pumps, 3 to choose from...(If someone can use these, I will sell them for shipping costs)
Updated Laso with ~50k miles, sitting on shelf for 2 years $50
Updated factory 951 core $25
Updated factory 944 core $25

Late style balance shaft covers, block was recycled $45

1986 951 Cam tower with rear cover and half of front gear cover $75

951 Oil filter console with thermostat $75

951 flywheel $50 plus shipping

951 bellhousing $40

Balance shafts, I have several $25/ea

1988 951 short block. Bores are nice, crank is cross drilled. I installed new rings and they never seated, so I replaced the engine. Has about 50k miles on it. Polish the bores, replace the rings and it should be a cheap way to get going. $300 plus freight.

Most of this is boxed and ready to go. I will add some more stuff as I dig through the bins. Why do I have all of this stuff?! I have no idea. It is a disease common to long term 944 owners.

Balance shaft covers are line bored to the corresponding block (unless it is the early style which had seperate bearing caps). There would be no guarantee that they would work if they are the late ones, just FYI.

I believe it is the covers that are line bored to the block. Balance shafts themselves should be fine to use on another motor.

I knew someone would comment about the shaft covers. They are matched to a specific block, but you can machine them to fit other blocks. I hate throwing away Porsche parts that are NLA if they can be used. AL recycles very well though!

David:

Sorry, no wheels. But I do have another oil filter console in case you crack another one!

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is only 8 time zones ahead of AL. I will have to learn how to deal with jet lag! I am hoping to be at Barber next year for the Father's Day DE. That list is hard to get on.
and it is expensive.
Thanks.

Not everyone knows that, and to have them re-bored is not cheap.

My only concern is that all possible issues be known up front. Not that you didn't know (obviously you did) but a potential buyer may not.

Josh, thanks. It is crazy around my house right now. How are you liking the 968? A totally difference animal that the red monster you had!

Darwin: your point is well taken. I assumed anyone that deep into one would know the story, but maybe not.
