Its not perfect...needs some work.....but I am up for the challenge. Just ordered parts to tune it up, got to work on an idle issue (ISV) and chase down other issues. 110K on the clock. Only thing done is a K&N Cone filter. Everything else is bone stock. Currently all of the warning lights are on in the dash except oil (cant get it to come on even though I replaced bulb). I assume I have a ground issue.
Its my 5th P car and third in my current fleet.
Looking forward to getting it running very smooth.

Jeff,
Welcome to the 951 family, I am sure after your work on the 928 you will be able to handle the 951, and it looks like you have a good starting point.
What are your plans for the car? Daily driver, track car, or something else?
Do you go over to cars and coffee at the carolina music factory (first saturday of every month)? I try to get over there most months, and can be found driving a guards red 951, or a marble grey 928S.

I have been to the last three Cars and Coffee. I typically drive my Guards Red 997. The 928 is completely torn apart right now getting ready to head to the paint shop and shipping the interior off for recover.
I plan to use the 951 as my daily driver. I bought it as a possible first car for my son...that is 14....but after I dove it home from buying it....he will have to get a N/A....as its just too much power.
The car looks great at 20 feet as the paint job is horrible. If I keep it long term, she will be repainted. I agree on the fender as I am missing a part. I would really like to meet up with the local 951 owners in order for someone to drive mine to determine if it runs right.
Maybe we can hook up soon. 928 leaves next week...so 951 comes in for some out patient surgery (tune up).

You are more than welcome to drive my 951, hp wise she is close to stock, down a few horses do to a leak on the crossover pipe. At some point, maybe soon, I will get the crossover fixed. Even with the exhaust leak it should be a good comparison to yours. And I would be happy to go over the car to see if there are any of the normal 951 items that might need attention.
Who is painting the 928? I need a dent fixed on the 951, and I have not found anyone I trust to do the job yet (well no one I trust that didn't want a small fortune to repair and paint the rear 1/4).
