Good stuff. Great result but potential for more is there. Is this a dry sleeved motor? Also, with the 2.7L crank, you polished and balanced it but why not knife-edge to lower rotating mass- Is is because of the high-reving nature of the motor already? Thank you for sharing.

I believe E85 is as rare as Hen's teeth in the U.K. I seem to remember either Top / 5th Gear doing part of an episode on this. It was available in about 2 petrol stations in the country.

Great stuff - cant wait to see it in the car.
I have linked to your thread on the PCGB forum (you don't have to be a member to post) the 944 area is very active and most of the posters closer to home! there were 30 plus of us on a trackday yesterday at Bedford

I got my manifold back in the week after being crackle black, so I have been in to work today and fitted it back on the engine. Here are some pictures of the manifold and the turbo in its finished position.
This one shows inside the manifold and how I have made the trumpet part of the back plate.
Hopefully back on dyno for next weekend.

Man Your engine looks amazing!....I particularly like the way you supply the oil to the turbo. I have never like the idea of tapping into the ballance shalft for oil. I makes more sense to get it from the main oil supply. It looks like something the factory would produce. I love the finish on the intake!

Amazing build! Thanks for sharing! Did you flow bench the intake? How evenly do the runners flow? The runners are fairly short, what were your design goals with the intake? Looks to be be designed for top end? I am working on an intake design and quite interested in any further details.

Looks really well done Tim. Congratulations. To me it's crying out for a bigger turbo. Did you say you had a GT35 somewhere in the wings?
