Default FS: T04E, Turbonetics Hotside, BAE Center, Garrett Wheel and Housing

Hey guys I have my old turbo for sale, I recommend rebuilding it due to oil seeping on the hotside. Seemed to only smoke under boost slightly and I had an oil restrictor plate with the turbo which will be sent with it. Only selling due to new turbo so I have abandoned my project. Specs are below along with price.

Hotside: Turbonetics 8# Replica
Coldside: BAE Polished .50 AR
Center: BAE CHRA
Compressor Wheel: 50.8 x 76.2mm
Turbine: 65.5 x 56mm Stage III Wheel

Comes with a Garrett GT3076R wheel and housing which will fit this turbo if you machine the wheel to a 1/4 center bore, everything else should bolt up. A machine shop can do it for 10-20 bucks. Then you will have a Journal Bearing GT3076R power output should be similar, the turbine wheel on this turbo is slightly larger compared to a real GT3076R. In case anyone was wondering BAE use to make aftermarket turbo kits for the 911 and 924 back in the day.

Price: $375 Shipped

This turbo is only a few months old, purchase last Fall, leaking started due because of too much oil pressure and I took too long to put a restrictor in. I contacted BAE and they stated 20psi around the recommend pressure. Turbo spins like new and very very minimal play.

FYI, BAE is pure cheap parts from China, their CHRA are junk.

? BAE makes majority of their parts in the USA sir, your information is incorrect. They have plants in Asia but I have contacted them personally. They've been around since before the 1970's and are known for making turbo kits for high end cars. Garrett (Honeywell) has manufacturing plants in the Asian market as well but that doesn't mean they're junk. I personally never sell anything I wouldn't use myself, I ran this at 18psi daily for 7-8months and shaft play is the same as when I received it. At that price any way the individual is only paying for a turbonetics replica housing and the garrett compressor housing and wheel anyway.
