The difference between D-90 and CS wheels is subtle, but the D-90s have a lip between the spoke and the rim, the CSs do not. CS wheels came on the Turbo S as standard.

Did you have any trouble finding the RE-11s? Also, how do you find them? I am thinking about buying them but I've heard availability is getting to be an issue. Tire Rack doesn't have them anyway.

How much do you want for the wheels? Any curb rash?

Id like to see 10k from her.

The rogue system in this was one the very first (its porschephiles old car making me the 3rd owner)

its on e-85. bunch of tasteful mods (unless you hate canister mufflers) Geoff had it dynoed at rogue at 310/340 and Ive added a good bit since then.

RE-11s will take some abuse, I have about a dozen track days on mine and at least as many autocrosses and they've still got tread, but the compound is falling off. I don't think 15k with track/autocross time is out of line with the proper alignment.

Check out the RE11a. They have a slightly higher treadwear and they're a bit cheaper than the RE11. I've heard they behave about the same as the RE11, which I really like. They don't have as much grip as the other tires in the category, but they don't let go as quick as you cross their limit and they provide good audible feedback.

i hate to say it but if you sprayed it the original color and kept the wheels it would be worth 10k to someone who wanted a slightly modified turbo s

The racing stripes are a negative on the price unless you are 16.

You really need to be aware of the type of owners these cars seem to attract. Non flashy, Technically oriented, Engineers, Professionals, Business men looking for a car that can be driven on a regular work day or saturday at the track, would come to mind when describing most of the people on this site. Very few are looking for a collectors car but most would consider a tastefully modded performance wise car in stock form over a car that has had racing stripes and painted wheels added to nicely modded car.

Oh I completely agree. dont get me wrong I fully understand what people are looking for..
I also know that I'm not dead set on selling the car. I could finance a cayman if i wanted but a second car along side this the truck and my harley just doesn't seem like a "need" makes more sense to feel for selling this. n put a down on a cayman

I am also a firm believer on Unique.. there isnt a single 951 that looks like mine now. aside from the one on the lindsey website modeling the ram air scoop. (also has racing stripes.) that's fine and dandy if someone wants to have the same gaurds red porsche that everyone else has. or quarts or whatever. but how can you stand out in a crowd if you look the same?

then again the type of person described "professionals" doesn't want to stand out does he?

Carlege how do ya like Georgia? Ill be in Ft. Benning for advance training come august for 6 months before I deploy.. I hear im in for some hell weather vs here in CO

I've always liked that car...well except for the nose panel. Those stripes are subtle and almost stealthy. Wasn't that TMS's car?
