So over the winter I've done a lot of work on the 951, installed new radio and speakers, Lowered the front suspension 1.25 inches and adjust the rear, installed M030 rear adjustable shocks, installed Polly bushings on the front and rear sway bars, Removed the cam box rebuilt and resealed it, installed a 4 degree advance cam key and a late NA camshaft, installed a new TPS, MSD blaster coil, cleaned up the grounds, and installed a new T-belt and Balance belt, During all this I found a lot of issues that if I had let go could have been very bad, Including a crank Bolt that was way way to loose I'm surprised I even had oil pressure, the second was the loose cam bolt. Both of these could have destroyed my engine, Thank god I found them... Now I was hoping to be up and running but Im still dealing with a fuel leak and balance shaft belt that I installed incorrectly..... So Down for another weekend

Goes that way sometimes. Just be thankful. I know the feeling. I'm waiting on my block now and trying to do some other filler stuff. Lots of that to do though, so it's a good thing. Gonna fill some more time tuning on my late sons old talon.
Always stuff to do.
Always stuff to do.

Dave - any issues with the injectors?
I had the same issue with my balance shaft belt years ago on my NA. Frustrating to get it all buttoned up.....to take it all apart!

Will, I Ran outta time to see where the leak is from, Its coming from the #4 injector area, But I didnt get a chance to see if it was just a bad install by me or maybe something wrong with my fuel rail, Ill have to check it this weekend, The good news is, I didnt put the belt covers back on because I wanted to make sure everything was good before I did so atleast thats easy LOL. Will you dont have a tensioning tool I can borrow do you?

Without question, every time I tackle something, and put it all back together and buttoned up (covers installed, clips clipped, trim reinstalled, etc) BEFORE I start the car and make sure it works, I wind up taking it all back apart again.

I don't have the fancy-pants tool....though I am pretty sure I have the cricket tool somewhere around here.
But to be honest, when I did the belts last year I read about 90 threads discussing the "twist" method and even watched a couple youtube videos. Ended up perfect......

Hang in there! I always spend down time learning. Amazing the wealth of info on this board and others. Sometimes the down times can lead to some pretty cool ideas!
