I don´t think the o-ring inside the fittings like the evans cooling i´m using so i´m going to change all to fittings without o-ring and a locking nut instead
I'm not using Evans (that's good stuff though!) but good to hear I'm not the only one who has had a leak there.

I figured it was probably due to vibration more than anything.

I don´t think the o-ring inside the fittings is tolerant to glycol/water mix in the long run
But as you say vibrations could also be a part of it.

So for those who do a search in the future (looking for the same stuff I am, to replace a piece of an existing LR kit):

51495K219 - Nickel-plated brass for 1/4 tubeing X 1/8 npt male pipe 90
51495K192 - Nickel-plated brass for 1/4 tubeing X 1/8 npt male pipe
Ah crum. Sorry Omni. I did not mean to lead you astray and should have given a caveat on the tubing size.

I drilled mine in exactly where LR does theirs and I've only ever seen a clear stream of fluid with no bubbles

No worries - just glad I caught it before I clicked "Checkout"

Got the new fitting installed last night. What a PITA. Between the vacuum hoses, wiring harness, and overall total lack of room back there for my fat grubby hands.... I lost count of how many times I dropped the stupid fitting. I eventually kicked an empty coolant bucket under the car so that I didn't have to crawl back under the car every time to retrieve it...
