It is obviously a K26 compressor housing and the wheel diameters I have for the K26-6 compressor wheel are 44/66 mm (the diameters for the K26-8 compressor wheel are 46/66 mm).
So based your numbers and pictures it looks like you have a K26-6 compressor housing and wheel.

The turbine has a modified -6 housing. The number 6 is cast in the inlet, it has a flat spot on the scroll and has KKK embossed. The standard -6 turbine wheel has the diameters 64.5/48.5 mm, add some clearance and the exit hole is 50 mm.
The -8 wheel has the diameters 64.5/54.5 mm, add some clearance and the exit hole is 56 mm.
So based on your numbers and pictures it looks like you have a K26-6 turbine housing bored out to accept a -8 turbine wheel.

Boring the housing can be done by simply increasing the diameter, or as it should be done: increasing the diameter and follow with a radius that fits the transition between the two diameters on the wheel.

Oddjob,
The critical dimension for the max wheel in the K26 compressor housing is the inducer (small) diameter. The OD of the hose attachment is about 50mm and the K26-8 compressor wheel has an inducer diameter of 46 mm. Add to that some clearance and you have about 1.5 mm wall thickness, which I would judge to be minimum for structural integrity.

PS My numbers are taken from my earlier reference and converted to mm.
Okay here are some pictures of the turbine housing it doesn't seem to be a normal k26-6 housing bored to k26-8 the flat spot was created by force it appears to me but i need your feedback it maybe a full k26-8 turbine housing

look at the real k26-6 housing (darker) vs the turbo in question

First off my attachment allocation is maxed out (6MB, an apparent change in Rennlist policy) and I don’t want to delete old pictures so I hope the PhotoBucket references below work.

Take a look at the external Turbo Identifier on Glark’s Garage: http://www.clarks-garage.com/shop-manual/eng-19.htm

I believe the “flat spot” is the ground off remainder from the filler hole in the mold. I do see your housing has it at a different place, but the important distinguishing feature is the internal dimensions of the scroll, which to some extent controls the outer dimensions as well.
Here are 4 pictures of my “turbo collection”
Picture #1, Turbo collection

Picture #2, K26-6 and -8 compared

Picture #3, K26-6 and -8 inner markings

Picture #4, K26-6 and -8 scroll widths

and as you can see in picture #4, the -8 scroll is wider than the -6 scroll and your hot housing is also clearly marked “6.” at the entrance (picture #3), which indicate that the turbine housing corresponds to a 6 square centimeter restriction (about the area at the start of the scroll).

6 & 8 housings can be identified by these two differences:

Thanks I can see the differance. I have checked what mine looks like and its the same as the #6 but the outlet is 55mm and it does not look like its been machined it looks original.

It is also a 5326-101-6367 casting and it is marked #6, the turbine size is 64/55mm, it is going to be fitted to an original Audi RS2 cold side do you have any idea what map I could use for modifying the ECU and do you know what KW/HP and Torque is possible from this combination.

It going on my Audi S2 to RS2 conversion
