May want to carefully check your plug wires (both ends), I had an issue with misfire a while back and it was a plug wire. Also, check prices at Summit for Blaster Coil, may be a bit cheaper. If you use an HVC II coil, you will need to a capacitor to the DME to kill some harmonics. I will try to dig up the details if anyone needs them.
Nearing completion of the 3L turbo project - would like to nail down the details of this setup.
Parts as I have noted include: Coil, M-Tune, modified DME and a special coil wire from Magnecore. Using the adjustable FPR.
What else is needed?

Have any of you seen the "high plasma ignition systems" out there? I bought a unit from Blue Phoenix ignitions. It has full race mode which will make your plugs turn into a welder. It's awesome!!! The plugs last one race on high mode and you have to use copper core plugs, But there are three setting on mine. Off(stock) (on-low, plugs last 5kmiles) (on-high plugs last one race). Look it up on YouTube. Blue Phoenix plasma. And I'm using water injection on top of that with an intercooler sprayer. Have not set it up yet, just getting the parts together!

Three Wheelin'
Bringing this thread back. Great read btw.
I'm just finishing up a build, and running the HVC II coil. I'm running Rogue hardware. My question is does anyone have a dwell map for this coil, or can someone help me changing the values in the dwell table? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here's what the math says for dwell on a dizzy setup, which is basically the same results as Rogue's study when it comes to max possible recharge time for the coil. This accounts for discharge time as well for a typical inductive coil.
and here's what I calculate for a WS setup, note how even at high RPMs you still have enough time to fully saturate the coil (achieve max usable dwell).
