They are reps.

Prices are falling for the OEM ones though.

That cleaned up the trim very nice.

What splitter is that?

I was reading the other thread on this stuff and It looks like it does a very nice job of cleaning up older pain job cars.

It'll be interesting to see how many cars get covered in the next year.

I like the them but if they are 19s, then must be somewhat heavy? Looks sharp on black though...We should get together some time for photo ops and compare some notes.

Thanks. I got the Black matte plastidip from my local Home Depot- they only carry black I think. Loews also carry them as well as some paint shop. The rest I get form DipYourCar.com as they are a distributor for plastidip.

It was a bit unnerving at first but the stuff is very forgiving and flexible to be used on most surfaces. Once you are used to the stuff, it can be kind of fun. You can be very creative with mixing and matching this stuff pretty much on all area of your car if you want to. A lot of ppl use this stuff to instantly change the color of their wheels in a few hours of time.

I researched on this stuff for a while and finally got the nerve to try it and I've got to admit, it turned out pretty decent for my first try...in the colder temperature no less. This stuff should be quite popular with the race and diy crowds I'd imagine over the next couple of years for sure. I have some other projects in mind so I will keep you guys posted.

I have used plastidip on my Lotus. Briliant product, and easy to peal off. Note that you have to remove masking tape imediatly to get nice and straight lines.

The black stuff is plastidip:

Looking great! The Seven must be a hoot to drive in the back roads...Is the black stuff on the rear fenders plastidip also?

Its good fun. Will be even better with the new 200bhp engine I am installing this winter

All the black stuff is plastidip. On the rear wings, its supposed to take stonechips from the front wheels. It works as good as you could expect. I was planningto vinyl wrap stuff, but after i tried the dip, its no going back...

They are 18"s not to bad on the weight, I can't remember what they were but it wasnt too bad.

And yes! When I get the 951 bolted all back together a GTG shall be in order!

Cool. Sounds like a plan! What are you having done to the turbo again- you must have told me at the CP tuning last year but I must be getting old so memory is failing...I like the S2 also and noticed that you had it dipped with the orange blaze paint...pretty cool. I wanted to experiment with mixing the blue blaze with some pearlizer to make it a more of a metallic sky blue on my other car. But yea, once you get used to this stuff, it can be fun not just to spice things up but also serve as a layering protectant as well as revitalizing many of the faded trim pieces.

I like things that can serve dual purposes like plastidip. I may try doing the wheels next on my DD.

I like the 60-1, not too big, not too little and with the right tuning, easily a 400+ rwhp comp. Been wanting to try one of those back then and may be should have done it when I went up in displacement but I am content with my current K27/K29 set up. Are you doing the 3" DP also...that and the FMIC should help with transient response. Can't wait to see it all complete. What's the eta on this project?

Its the 2.75 downpipe from Fabspeed. ETA is hopefully soon! I have all the parts and have been wrenching here and there, but this is peak work season and I am trying to remodel my house too so time isnt on my side ha.
