Just to be clear, Plastidip original is not in a 'Spray' Can, more a 'Paint' can thing, hence, the 'dip'. Great for doing Tool Handles and such, as you can do 1/8" thick layer pretty fast. Yes, it also comes in a Spray Can these days, with various colors. btw, it is NOT a good electrical insulator material and has poor Heat resistance, and drys to a soft, flexible covering, - good for Handles but not Hammer Faces.

Its the 2.75 downpipe from Fabspeed. ETA is hopefully soon! I have all the parts and have been wrenching here and there, but this is peak work season and I am trying to remodel my house too so time isnt on my side ha.
Hmmm...I had my shop ordered the fabspeed 2.75 as well to go with my 3", no cat fabspeed exhaust but had to returned cause they say it didn't fit well or something. So I ended up ordering the true 3" sfr downpipe with the "ear" mount welded on for the stock mount for extra bracing. Waited like over a month for the darn thing to come from sfr. Fits perfectly though and am happy with the result at the end. Let me know if you need some help with wrenching to speed things up a little. We always picked the worse time to do some of these project whether it be car or home improvements...

Good to know. I am new to these stuff but now feel much more comfortable using it in the next project.

I've been using the black spray on the front of the racecar for years. It still gets dings in it from the gravel that gets thrown up but every so often I tape up the front and spray on a couple of coats and it looks fine. Sure beats having to respray the front or have the front end all pocked up with rock chips. If it gets too bad you can peel it off and start over.

I custom built my own exhaust based off the fabspeed dp, my only complaint was the bolt holes weren't tapped correctly but that got cleaned up pretty quickly. Right now my biggest problem so far has been getting the vbanded crossover to line up.

And yes I will let you know if I plan on wrenching for more than an hour at a time!

I agree, this stuff is pretty forgiving and easy to use not to mention the flexibility it provides so it's a win-win for me. If it survived track use, I would think for weekend street use, this stuff should last quite a while.
