Do all wideband O2 sensors come with a gauge or need a gauge?

Yes, so it does the innovate line, i guessing that he was thinking of buying just the sensor itself and replace the oem and use it with the motronics system.

i have a AEM UEGO as well, the gauge and sensor can be utterly standalone. I personally have it wired into my Emerald ECU (the DME and KLR have long since died) using the 5v output wire. This allows the Emerald to self tune when set to do so. The gauge allows me to see whats going on with the fueling.
Please keep in mind that AFR is not the entire picture to how things are going in your engine - you cant tune purely on this. Other important readings would be exhaust gas temp and also knock sensing which would have an impact on the ignition timing.
