Do all wideband O2 sensors come with a gauge or need a gauge?
I am thinking of getting a mafterburner and I am not sure if a wideband O2 sensor is required with the Mafterburner, but I think it is required. So can I then get a Wideband sensor without a gauge as I don't need to have to figure out how or where to mount something else?

OK. Thanks. Now I don't have a clue how a wideband gets wired into the cars electronics. Do you disconnect the stock O2 wiring connect that is in the engine bay and splice the wideband O2 wiring to the stock wiring connector.

It is a well worth investment for a wideband sensor to keep tabs of live accurate air/fuel ratios. If you are in need of a AEM Electronics UEGO wideband with digital display gauge, I currently have a few left at a smashing price of only $159 shipped within the continental US. Kindly PM for details or give us a call at the number bellow.

Correct, wideband setups such as the AEM Electronics unit is a stand alone system on its own and does not require much to wire other than power and ground. It does also offer output for ECM/EMS's capable of accepting a 0-5v analog input for data-logging or closed loop operation.

So would the AEM Uego plug into a mafterburner or is there special adapters, etc..?

No the mafterburner does not make adjustments by reading a wideband.
You data log using the software the maf uses. Make changes manually to get the tune that you want. The wide band is used as a reference for you to make your fuel curve.

A wb o2 sensor does need it's respective controller and you will need the gauge.

So then the purpose of this would be to plug into a Mafterburner and the mafterburner would log afr and I could make adjustments with the mafterburner? Sorry for being such an idiot. I'm trying to understand the purpose of the wideband and potential use of it.

If you are interested in a wideband gauge that displays AIR/FUEL ratios, vacuum and boost with built in data-logging capability AEM Failsafe gauge is a great choice. For more information on how this system works, kindly give us a call at the office, ext. 3 for tech department.
Yes, and the AEM Wideband UEGO has its own controller built right into the gauge it self.
