So my car not having a sunroof isn't the way most of them came from the factory ?
I don't have the facts and figures but that is definitely the truth here in the US. I don't know about the ROW. Finding a factory sunroof-delete car in the US is like winning the top prize on a cheap scratch-off lottery ticket.... They are out there but the odds are against you in finding one! Next weekend I will be buying my 24th 944, and all of them have had sunroofs.
And, I was on-topic, see original post >

Hey you crazy Brit ! Yes I am talking about your 89 Turbo not having the hole and Mr. Pigg's blue 89 NA also does not have the hole. However, Cary's 89 S2 has the hole and no wiper.
I must be missing something if there's any benefit in the hole delete option .
I've seen a lot of people remove their rear wiper, and they always use a little plug to fill the hole. I'd always assumed that was the only real option. Then my buddy bought an '89 S2 wreck for parts, and it had a hatch with no hole. It really just made me curious. I mean, it is a big cleaner looking than having that plug in the glass. But really, I just discovered something I didn't know existed, and I was curious about it.
