Ernie, well that is a loaded question. You can pull the engine in about 3 hours alone since you have a lift it is a breeze coming out of the bottom. But I was challanged that I could not take out the top, well it can be done but don't suggest. The engine in the pic is a 2.7 out of a 1989 but it will be the same for a 3.0 litre

    Dewane,

You posted this as a PM to me. I don't know what work you did on the motor, but I should have pulled the motor from my 968 numerous times when I had to work on the bottom end of the motor. A highly impractical motor to do much serious work on with it installed in the car.

It took me about 12 hours to renew the lower balance shaft cover and front seals. A real bitch.....and I have a lift in my garage! So, if I might ask (in the event that I ever have another front engined P-car in my garage), honestly, how long did it take you to pull the motor out of the car? Start to finish, and what was the toughest part of the job.

    Regards,

    Ernie
