We appreciate the interest in our products and services!

About shipping 944 TTs. We like to keep them man portable for ease of shipping methods, so pallets are out.

We have a recommended way which now uses a pool noodle section, cardboard, double wall cardboard boxes, PVC pipe sections to protect the drive shaft, Gorilla brand duct tape, plastic stretch wrap and clear packing tape.

We can send instructions and pictures to those interested.

Shipping charges are about $100.00 and up to about $130.00 one way to most places in the US. The reason for the high cost is that the dimensions of the aluminum transmission flange are calculated for the whole length of the tube by the shippers. We ship 928 TTs, which do not have such a flange, for about half or less.

As discussed above we charge $150.00 for dismantling, cleaning, bead blasting, inspecting, P-coating and then re-assembling the TT with our products per customer needs.

We also offer new 944 drive shafts made of a stronger than stock material for $450.00 each.

Thanks again for all the interest in this thread. We have spent a considerable investment in making these products to give the 944, 928 and now 911 owners, the very best in TT rebuild products and services.

Best regards,
