Bump. Sean, any progress in the last few months?

Throttle body should be turning up this week or next. When i get it i will make up an adapter plate and design a plenum for the thing. Should only take a month or 7.

No worries, these projects always take longer than planned, that's for sure! I was hoping you might have done all the hard work already and figured it out so I could be lazy and just get you to do mine, but I guess I will get started on it myself.

Its not difficult to make, its just time has not been on my side. Between the usual servicing work we started our track season and we have a few more 944's this year, And between them the owners like to have their setups checked and tweaked the week before an event. Then we have Bruce's 928 that we will be doing a resto on and in time we also have his Kawasaki Rickman 900 that will be getting a good going over. I feel like any little projects i have go on the back burner.

Also be curious to know if you or Bruce know the OPRV blow off pressure. At what pressure does it open?

I am working on an 8V short runner, large plenum intake. Parts are suppose to arrive tomorrow. I will post up some pics. Should be a high quality and fairly low cost solution.

Well i can safely say that there has been no progress as of yet on the manifold. There is a reason though. I changed my mind last year about the plenum and i want to make it out of carbon instead. So its on hold until i finish up the bonnet below. Im around 50hrs into it so far and should have the lower portion layered within the next few weeks.

What your looking at their are the 2 moulds. The black portion is the tooling gelcoat. You can see in the 2nd picture the white bonnet before we pulled it from the mould. After we do a final prep on the mould surfaces we can lay the carbon cloth and prepare for vacuum infusion of the resin. We are looking at 50 plus hours just for the original bonnet prep, and making the moulds. I would imagine there is going to be quite a bit more involved before the product is finished. The moulds should be good for 30+ pulls
