AH! If we are talking Tim then... UGH, he is who I bought my turbo from recently (made by SF).
- Got the modified motor mount then nothing else (bought it with the turbo along with DP
- Call Tim, where is the DP and turbo? Couple weeks later get the DP. Still no turbo...
- Turbo, TONS of calls, emails and texts and rinse and repeat, Nice guy but was always another excuse. Was not until I threatened to call my bank and dispute the charges did it finally show up a week or so later but his blaming everyone else was BS
- Install engine mount, then turbo.. DAMNIT, hot side hits the mount, badly... Call Tim, he asks me to take photos, etc which I text to him. Ends up saying he lost the template he uses when modifiying the engine mounts and did it from memory! WTF... week later get modified mount. Finally get turbo mounted...
- UGH, will this never end? He did not include oil line to connect from block to turbo... Text him.. his reply: "**** my life damnit".. Really? We speak on phone, promises I will have it by Tuesday (it is Friday when we are texting)... Tuesday rolls along and nada... says he is missing an end to make the oil line. DUDE CAN YOU NOT COMMUNICATE? So, I agree to go to Summit and get the missing part on my dime, he sends me the line.. Drive 2 hours round trip, to Summit, get part, go to install and... the line he sent is two + inches too short..

Fwiw sfr is primarily a Japanese import shop doing Mitsu, Honda and Nissan that also messes with 944s.

i used to live nearby and 4 yrs ago Tim told me he was done with 944s as there wasn't enough business in it... that might explain the delays and poor product.
