Default HELP!!!!

Ok so I just installed a 3bar fpr, #55 injectors, LR 60-1, and max chips dme and klr. After the install the car wouldnt start. So I installed my old autothority chips back in and the car started. So then I changed out the dme autothority to the new 951max and left the autothority in the klr and the car runs fine. My first question is why doesnt the car run with both(dme and klr) 951 max chip. I talk to Russell when I ordered the chips and he said the klr chip doesnt matter. Is that true? Should I leave it as is?

Also I changed out the rod bearings bearing and etc. Now the car has a constant oil light. What is that from? I hope someone can help Thanks

For the chips that,s correct.

For the oil light it could be multiple things. How many quarts did you put? It's 7 quarts.

Ok thanks on the chip part. I put in 5 quarts because I completely drained it from doing the rod bearings. I will go buy cpl of more quarts, maybe thats the reason. Some mentions excessive rid bearing clearance. I was started to get scared for a sec. I will do that tom. Now if I can old get my split sec afr to read.

Thanks

Well I hooked it up through the clock then ran the orange wire to the black wire on the o2 sensor, the brown wire to a ground like it said. I just installed the split second arm1(garbage i know) Well when I turn on the car it starts into yellow then quickly red and steady. I have not driven the car out of the garage because Im scared of detonation. How do I know if the cheap afr is accurate or if my car is actually lean?

Where the chips burned for this setup? Talk to Russell he's very knowledgeable, and will help you. I'm running is chips on my autothority mad. So far the afr's are spot on.
Where are you located?

Like Dan suggested verify the oil level before adding any oil.

Yes I got them from Russell at 951 max. Could it be the 2 diff chips. Im using the new 951max chip for the dme and the autothority for the klr since the chip he sent me for the klr was bad

No the KLR has no effect on your tune. Before you go bunkers make sure the Wbo2 sensor is good.

Assuming you have the correct oil level make sure you plugged in the connector for the oil level sensor on the pan. That connector also is usually really brittle so make sure its plugged in all the way.

The arm1 is a narrowband afr gauge right? Not sure how much stock i would put in its readings.

If you put 5 qts of oil in and don't have pressure, the dipstick won't matter. I'd check the crank bolt torque if it has been off.

If its a sender/gauge problem, continue troubleshooting chips.

If its a true pressure problem, you need to forget the chips for a bit.

Tackle one problem at a time, First, Figure out where your oil level is, Check your dip stick, check the sender, Then prime the engine with oil, Now no fear of trying to start, That AF gauge is junk, If your modding your 951, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you get a Wideband ASAP, the 951MAX chips are usually really good with A/F ratio but without a wideband youll have no clue what your engine is up to.
