The gt3582 HTA is a great turbo, lots of info out there for other platforms, comes on earlier and makes more power than a 'normal' gt35.

CR is 8.5 to 1, slightly higher than stock.

so basically they make compressor blades which are better then the standard garrett ones. seems interesting.
it would be good if they had a comparison.

I have a GR3076R HTA that I bought from Bruce but haven't been able to mount it yet but this was intended to be used on a 3L build.
It's the twinscroll and I think it's 0.76. This would mean crazy spool on a 3.0 and probably on a sorted 2.5 too.

What you guys think this will support in power on a 3.0?

The HTA is supposed to be competitive with Garret GTX I think? So my 3076R would compare to a GTX3076R.

IICR HTA have been doing the billet wheels before the GTX wheels came out.

I got to ride in a ~550whp 2.2L I5 Audi that had an HTA3582 with a 1.06 twin scroll and Sound Performance Quick Spool Valve. Most people use the QSV on larger turbos, but it worked great on the HTA. Guy said it spooled 150rpm faster than his PTE5857 with 0.63 hotside, but with MUCH more topend.

Might help spool on the 2.5L even if it's not getting rev'd as high and still make great top end power. If there's even room to fit a QSV on a 951...

Thingo: Did you do the double up-pipes on your setup? Do you have pictures of this?

I'm thinking of this or either the QSV. Both require its share of fabrication..

Do you run one or two wastegates?

Thanks!
