Very interesting! What a gorgeous time capsule... neat to see some of the Aussie differences. I wondered about that clutch reservoir too! Looks like the fuel lines have a different entry/exit point as well (maybe that was all later 951s).

There has been an 'underground' feeling that perhaps RHD cars did have a different brake feel and were also prone to a softer pedal. Makes sense in that there are more levers to move and travel. Never been totally proven one way or the other.

Super nice car! You can even see by just looking at the surface of the dash that it is a low mileage car (speaking about the surface look, not cracks etc)

Hmm not in Sweden though. Never seen a US bumpered S2 or 951 sold in Sweden.

RHD MK 1 Golfs had a similar setup and lost some feel with the linkage.

1990 and it doesnt have the radio antenna in the windshield?

Quite the throttle cable path too (tube wit the red clip on the strut tower).

Beautiful car... it's refreshing to see the non-US cars with clean bumpers ans smooth sides sans the front and rear side markers.

Beautiful car, just don't care for that older style steering wheel. Looks so dated, why wasn't the more modern version used?
