This is good info to know. Right now I have started to buy a lot of parts for an end of the year upgrade, mostly on ebay. reviewing your credit card terms for buyer protection and using paypal is as much as one can do short of demanding COD. Sorry to hear, hope something becomes of his fraud.

What a blessing!

That way you will never have to get caught in up in a weak moment and buy from the loser.

Shoot man I am sorry to hear this on the wheels.

I sold my new in the box triple Mikunis and manifold for my 260Z on ebay and they were absolutley immaculate. All new with and bristling brite. The poetential buyer sent me a message and then I called and we talked. He was a nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof. He somehow thought I was going to switch the carbs etc. I said these are the only ones I have.

He hit the Buy It Now and paid through PayPal. I packed them up tops and sent them. Now I am starting to think it might be a scam as I sold a Datsun jacket too. The guy SIGNED for the thing and then said he never got it. I had to issue a credit on the thing ! Unlikely I ever sell on ebay again. I did the inusrnace back from UPS or FedEx who investigated, but what a hassle.

Two days later the phone rings and the guy has the carbs. He is bursting about how great they are ! And all was good on my end. Whew.

Nice when it goes right and crap when it does not.

Anyway I hope you get your money back. Doesnt PayPal insure these transactions?

I have had a lot of transactions with Mike myself, and never ever had any issues with him. Probably spent around 10k in his ebay store. And most of the transactions have been "off record", not through ebay.

Have recived parts that the postal company have damaged, and he have always replaced my parts. Free of charge, ofcourse!

Sorry to hear about this incident..
