Default Another Maf/Filter question (Vitesse)

I'm trying something new, while reinstalling all pipes.

Does anybody know if a setup like this will work???

I'm thinking that this way, the filter will be breathing fresher/colder air.

Only thing I wonder is if the cone filter as to be attach directly to the maf to have a good maf reading.

If the car is to be used on the street with the possibility of going through standing water, I would suggest some form of protection over that filter, I forded a small river the other day with my 951 after being caught in a flash flood and a setup like that would have hydrolocked the motor.
