How much torque for 5/8" head studs?

Default How much torque for 5/8" head studs?

Does anybody now proper torque spec for biggger head studs 5/8", Block is sleeved, cometic HG and no orings ?

Whish studs are they (i.e. who supplied them)? Are you sure they are 5/8"

Do not know manufacture.
yes they are 5/8" - i think i should be around 140-150 lbs ?

Hard to give a torque spec for a stud of unknown source. I know of other over-size studs that take that much (and more) but the block is machined with the torque plate tightened to that level. Have you checked that the head and gasket will even be able to slide over 5/8" studs? The stud holes in a factory gasket are not that big, so I wonder if the holes in the head are too small too...

this is existing setup by Jon Millledge i just bent valves and cant get ahold of Jon for confirming the torque

Ah, then you might try calling Jason Lee at Heritage in Florida. When I called Jon for his studs, he said to get them from Jason. My studs are 9/16" (not 5/8"), however, so I hesitate throwing out a number.

Sorry for late reply,
I did measure only by eye, so it maybe 9/16 , I got answer somewhere else just to confirm center stud torque 150 lbs and outsides 125 ?
