Greg - thank you for the pictures. The picture of Robby's dash didn't show up. When I try to open it in another tab, it takes me to a login screen. I no longer have the factory boost gauge though - I don't like having repetitive gauges.
I know what would make me like the gauges better in the console - being able to recess them into the panel. I'm not sure what it would take to be able to do something like that. Maybe I'll shoot off an email to Front Panel Express to see what they can do.
When I was rebuilding the main wiring harness, I almost moved the window switches to the center console. If the hole on the right side would have accepted a switch, I would have done it. If there is one thing that drives me crazy about the 944 interior, it's the scattering of switches. Why is the rear window defrost on the dash but the rear window wiper on the console? I should have moved some switches around.

Ohhhh that's sexy.
Wouldn't one need to reprogram the KLR and replace the MAP sensor on the KLR board to read/interpret that much boost? Or does it sit at 14.5 at idle and I'm waaaay over thinking things?

Thanks Greg! Nice 200mph speedometer too. I'm curious how accurate it is. Unfortunately my EBC is built into the gauge, so even going that route doesn't help me much. Very cool though. Any idea how much it cost him for the conversion?
Right now I'm hatching a plan for moving the gauges to the center console. I lose my cubby, but that's probably better than reinstalling the pillar pod.

Quoting Robby's email from 2009:
"The gauge was ~$175 of the total deal from N.Hollywood Speedo- I thought it really wasn't much more than buying a VDO & some sort of pillar deal, etc when you added it al up, plus modding, etc..."

Well, this should be interesting. I just spent most of the evening taking various measurements of the center console and my gauges. This is either going to look really cool or like total crap - I don't think there's a possibility of anything in between.
