Do you mean the early turbo forged rods ?. I thought they were not the best but strong enough.

Ha, well I'm sure he'll have a good result too. Just could have had lighter reciprocating mass in that build but we all go our separate ways.

Decisions decisions. Looks like a toss up between Wossner and Pauter. I presume there are no clearance issues with the Wossner.

carrillo rods have always been of teh highest quality. IDK about the Wossners, Im sure they're good

So what is everyone's opinion on replacing rods without rebalancing the engine (ie only matching pistons and rods)? Is this likely to be an issue?

Did you rebalance the whole engine, or just match the rods + pistons?

It is more for insurance. They may be fine, but who knows?
