Sounds like what I'm aiming for, what injectors/engine management/intake are you using ?.

I use 55lbs. low impedance injectors- a little small too but do the job just make sure the fuel pump is upgraded as well and 3 bar fpr for insurance. For engine management, I am still using the old school APE MAF set up. An old friend of mine who is the ex-Autothority engineer, reprogrammed the chips for me so it's a little more up to date than your typical APE set up. With that said, I would recommend a newer system offered by one of our vendors on here. Btw, I got my pistons with coating from 944 Enhancement and are happy with them as well as their customer service. Mine is tuned for street and weekend driving.

Cool. Good luck and do keep us posted on your build. Do you have a time frame to get all this done? Nice looking car btw...I like alpine white. Had a 86 951 factory Pearl White before- do miss it a lot.

Thanks. No time frame for the 3.0, I'll put my 2.7 engine on a stand, strip it and see if I can get a good deal on the parts I need. I'm not even sure what car it will go in, a cheap 968 with a blown engine would be one option.

If you go for the 968 add some extra funds to make the install work right. I am sure you know this but it's all the little details like getting the intercooler setup right and working with the water cooling as well as the oil cooling and the waste gate and exhaust setup which are all slightly different on a 968 and require custom work to some degree to make it all work.

Yes, I've got enough to do without making things harder. Last night I was thinking why am I doing this ?, cars running great and I hardly use it anyway, but I've put back the couple of lbs of boost I took out to play safe and having a built up 3.0 on a stand will be nice back up . What oil cooler are you using ?.

Paul.
