Default Chris white or Lindsey racing?

PLEASE,no bad posts! Both vendors are well known to do great work. I'm ready to get her all fixed up. In a perfect world I would like to send entire car, that way it could be tuned, etc with motor by builder. I'm closer to Chris but also would like as quick a turn around time as possible. Spun #2 bearing, don't want a monster, just a very solid rebuild. Had head redone earlier this year,o-ring 0 miles on head, just need new bottom end. Maybe consider 2.8 tuned at 15psi. not looking for high hp (300-325 max). Whatcha think?

Well, then that's easy. Whoever can do it the fastest. If shipping cost is no concern.

Have you thought about getting a stroker motor built by Blown 944?

I agree with 95one.

If you want it done faster, phone both and ask on approx. turnaround times. Considering both to be the same, with Chris being closer to you, then that will also give you an advantage on both shipping time and costs, to and from.

Driver I did read a little on his stroker engine, wasn't sure if those were being made for others just yet. I'm not looking for high hp or anything. Just don't want to have to open engine up for some time. Have M-tune( don't think installed correctly byIMA) new Evergreen K27/6,3" exhaust ,afr gauge,tru-boost,etc. Not sure if 2.8 is in the plans but Dan said crank got a little messed up .....so maybe. Hard to catch up to Lindsey or Chris with my schedule, hope to hear something soon.

Both are good vendors with great customer service as I am speaking from experience. I am local to you so if you want to meet up and chat about your build, pm me.

I have to laugh at that Kev. Let's just say enough.......not trying to spend a huge amount, but have enough to have it done the right way.

Go with Chris. If you want parts, Lindsey is a good choice, but Chris has the ability to give you the individual attention youir project will need. I have nothing bad to say about Lindsay, by the way, they are good guys.

I have been dealing with both for a good long time (I sent Chris a set of 944 manual seat rails twelve years ago for one of his race cars before he went "pro" and my first order with Lindsey was a dual port wastegate at least ten years ago), but given your history with your car, trust me, Chris will be better suited to making sure you get what you want.

So you know a bit about my problems with her, lmao. Yea.....just trying to drive my car man. Still have the whole interior just sitting here,seats,10 speaker cards, new speakers, carpet, rear seat delete(D9),rear storage cubbie, etc. Just need job done, like I say in every post, just looking for 300hp or so. If a 2.8 can give me a bit more low end torque wonderful, street car and I live in the city, won't have to be on boost as much traveling in town.
