The RX7, Rotor Wankel engines and all were formidable cars cause they were also very light with balanced handling---the apex seals issues killed reliability so much so that I don't think Mazda is making them anymore ending with the RX8.
Do enjoy reading on some of you guys' simulations. Thanks for sharing.

The rotary's are LOUD and gas mileage is horrible. A friend of mine raced them for years and at one time held records for normally aspirated and then turbo'd for standard 2 rotor engines (1/4 mile)

So what my take away from this is:
I can beat a Hayabusa, ZX14, or S1000RR with my 951.
Is that correct?

Guys, some of you seemed to have "super car envy syndrome". Meaning that, like the cars' drivers, they just think that as long as a car is labeled as a super car no one can touch them. I am just saying that with the right combo, the 951 can really run with most cars out there, super or not and that's good stuff for our 25 years old cars.

Nice story
I happen to have a Gallardo and a 944S2
I get people checking out the Gallardo all the time. I often avoid looking back as I don't want to provoke a race. So, if you even get someone minding their own business, that would be the "look"
The 944 S2 is so slow compared to Gallardo it's like comparing a bicycle to a motorcycle. Even my FD was much faster. Your 951 may be faster than a NA 944 3L engine. I have only driven 944 2.7 turbos and I am not impressed.
In short, there is nothing the 944 has over a modern supercar, except the price and the ability to not have to worry about the car in shady areas. That's why I have the 944.
Naturally, the story is only theoretical, of course.
