Default Hood louvers

New to the 951 scene.
Anyone here add louvers to their hood for heat extraction?
Pics please

I've got the same ones as George above. They certainly work visibly at rest after lapping. You can see a haze of heat rising up through them. Not sure at speed but I'm confidant that they're doing something then also. David Floyd is the only person I've seen with old school vents in a pressed metal style on a stock hood. I'm sure if you do an advanced search under Vents in this 944 turbo forum a picture of his will be in there somewhere.

These vents work, period. Whether you cut, and bend, cut and install ready made molds, makes little difference unless you FU the direction they should be cut.

Ha, yes, I've seen the same vents as ours installed backwards. The guy didn't even know it. I tried to tell him but I think he was more concerned about looks over functionality.

www.GenesisTechnologies.com makes nice ones in carbon fiber in two sizes. IFC made me a 16 pound hood with louvers and turbo outlet vent if you want to go that way.

That link doesn't go to any vent maker Lanny. Do you have a pic of Mike's hood?

Coincidentally, I just received an email from Mike today. Go figure.
