Just an FYI and to share. I won the GTP2 class at the Edmonton Indy this last weekend. I finished first in class and fourth overall and the three cars in front of me were 2 GT3s and a 935 knockoff that is very quick. I have to thank Dan Worley for selling me his built-to-his-spec by Lindsey Racing 3.0 liter engine when mine went sick and his counsel and advice on set-up etc. Also to Eurasia Auto in Edmonton for stepping up to the plate to help me out and in particular Ron Morandin who did all the work on the car while it was there. Keith Christiansen worked like a slave, fed me oxygen as necessary and had the car at his shop for a long time without complaint. I'm on the road now but will post some pictures of the car as soon as I can. Fun weekend and a great group of Porsches represented there.

I love the Thread Topic....These cars evoke a following kinda like drinking the Kool Aid! I saw your car at Eurasia, Ron was doing some work to my 951 as well. I missed the Indy, because of a wedding. I had a couple of friends running that weekend and really want to see them run as well as your car too. Congratulations and perhaps one day I can be out there with you!

Nice work Lanny, I heard the news through the local 944 grapevine. Glad to hear Dan's engine worked out for you, now that you've won with it we'll call it Lanny's engine. Any in car video from the race?
