The weekend was great. I'm pretty sure that ours was the only race series that didn't have to deal with rain in some way. The race was actually almost boring as I only passed two back markers in between yellows and was passed only twice by Ralph Zutters tube frame "Z" and I repassed him on the straight using sheer horsepower and the last lap when he dive bombed me in the last corner of the last lap. He locked up and slid by and I went under him and they threw the checkers without throwing a white flag the lap before but all fun in the end.The car is super strong and has at least one to two seconda a lap left in it as we sort handling out. MY EGTs were 1600-1630 under full boost so we have to get more intercooler on the car. The car dynoed at 375 @ 11.0 PSI and we were running 14.0 in the race. Dan ran a 12.40 @ 121 mph in the quarter @ 17.0 PSI with this engine, in his street car using 5 year old 245/45/16s so there is lots to be had out of the motor yet. We'll freshen it this winter then be able to up the boost safely. We added an intercooler spray kit at the race and with a pair of large intercoolers behind a GTR /Kokeln bumper it should be good. Engine temps never went above 220ish and the oil was around 210. The dry sump puts out 120+ PSI at revs and idles hot at 70 PSI. I will post pics today and the go pro video if someone can tell me how or where to post the Go Pro vid.

Yes on the swap. We'll rebuild the 2.5 for a spare or stick it in my silver rose 88 "S" which donored the engine for last years Indy.

Wish I was there this year...

Good job Lanny, I am quite envious of that dry sump.

Sometimes I don't get the context in which older threads are resuscitated?

Lanny is a busy guy. Would love an update from him though.
