Tony, what combination of drive axles and cv joints are you using? Were the stub axles changed on the gearbox to run 108 mm joints with stock 996 axles or is it setup using 996 outer and 944 inner?

We machined the transaxle stub axles to accept Boxter S outter CV race.
Then the entire rest of the CV (on the trans side) the axle and the other CV is all 996/997 TT.

Cool!!! Great job Tony!
Do you think it could have fired any quicker? No BS, that was seriously the first time you tried to fire it and it hit that fast? 👍👍👍

But that was the first start of the car.
Then we got to deal with a power steering leak and three oil leaks. While I was dealing with the leaks, Jeff was programming the Racepak IQ3 dash and the Smartwire.
Then I had to go home because it was 2am on Christmas eve.
We'll resume dealing with the car Thursday. Then it's back off to Vision.

Congrats Tony. Absolutely amazing project to follow. I'd love to stop by Vision when it's there again and check it out.
When are you planning a track session?
