GE uses or will be using 3-Printed fuel nozzles in one of their next generation jet engines so I imagine it won't be too long before the technology will be utilized in the automotive industry and racing.

1.28.14

Body work, and more body work.

Rear exhaust done.
Windshield in.
Front Flares almost done.
Rear Flares being molded in.
PowerSteering done.
Brakes plumbed and bled.
Front Bumper being filled, shaped, opened up, etc...

And more....

Progress is moving very fast now. It should be ready to wrap in 2-3 days.

Great work and project Tony. After all the fab work, why not graft in a double wishbone front suspension?

The primary goal of this project was to 1 up ORCA.

And in doing that, we wanted to keep it all factory OEM Porsche or Porsche Motorsport where possible. And it turns out that with the exception of the tie rods and sway bars, it's all factory Porsche.

If something happens at the track to the suspension (off track excursion, hit something or someone, etc...), if I don't have a spare, there's a 99.9% chance that lots of other people will, which is a big deal.

I'm off to Vision.....

Understood. If you ever do, look at the 928 "S" front suspension. It has the strongest spindles and hubs of all the 928's. I'm building brake kits for them ATM.

I'd say that was in reply to the question on suspension.

are you planning to use up the LS6 so-to-speak before changing to the 400+ c.i. engine?

Yes... but those parts are still street car parts.

The geometry, strength, and weight are not the same as factory Porsche Motorsport parts.

Body Updates. And the last of the mechanical.... cockpit adjustable sway bars, and the custom built rear sway bar.

The punch list is almost done.

Measurements taken and graphics getting done for the wrap.

Almost done!
