Sounds right to me. 255 ET 55 on 9s with 15mm spacer (about the same as 285 ET52) rubs on lip (fender not rolled) with -2 camber. Interestingly it is only the left that rubs. You need at least ET60 IMO with 285 tyres. All tyres aren't equal, so what works for some won't for others.
