okay i'd look at just rebuilding your turbo,
Then..
if you want to mod it.
Save up... think of a budget that would work with you, do some research in how much power you want to make with specific targets, ect.. post up a thread regarding your idea for mods or a brain storing thread for yourself. and some of us will chime in and give you a hand with what you should and shouldn't do. ect.

K27 is not a direct fit. The inlet is bigger than the K26, so the stock jboot will not fit. Water pipe probably needs tweaking too, as stated above. Probably a few other tweaks I'm forgetting. Run a search and you'll find plenty of posts about installing he k27 in a 951. As for the stock injectors, you can max them out with almost any turbo with enough boost. With reasonable (low) boost you can still Use them with a bigger turbo.

I just made a visit to rogue tuning, their products seem pretty affordable. Looks like the M-tune would do the trick with their 80# injectors. I already have the 28 pin dme so that's one less thing to take care of. I'm going to give evergreen turbo a call tomorrow and see what he can do with my 26/6.

that would be the best thing to do, if you get the M-Tune you can put any turbo you want and be done with it

I was going to suggest that you do exactly this. Definitely the best bang for the buck.

For now I'll see if anyone here has a used m-tune. If you guys would, keep your eyes and ears peeled! I came across a 26/8 in need of a rebuild. Price has yet to be discussed, any idea what I should pay for this?

Anything against vitesse MAF? I stumbled upon one in search of an m-tune. Setup consists of vflex software, 72# injectors, smt8 spliced into engine harness, chips, klr, dme, and a couple other goodies I can't recall right now.

the M-tune doesn't require a piggy back to make tuning adjustments.

That's how I understood it. But the smt8 takes care of that. It would be nice having less components in an already cluttered car.

And just to clarify, can one personally tune the m-tune? From what I read on rogues site it must be sent in for adjustments.

Josh just introduced this

http://www.roguetuning.com/rogue_tun..._dme_interface

Probably the best thing for the 951 tuning wise, no piggy back, it works like a standalone computer..pretty much

Choose any bolt on turbo and the M-tune and you'll be very happy.
