I'm showing my age, but I was lucky enough to grow up in the Muscle Car era, when they were plentiful and cheap. My daily driver my senior year was a 375hp SS 396 Chevelle I bought with a dented fender for $350.00.

haha..yeah, my 70' Dart was only $800 (in 1978). It was a drag car by then with ported heads and headers. The guy hooked the lights back up and put street rubber back on the rear. Of course that explains why the car killed that 429 Mustang ;<)
