Just found a couple threads re: camber plate reviews; thought some would find them interesting.

so if I went with the GC, is it better to go top mounted? I would think that would give more room for adjustment? also, I would need a new strut bar. what works with the top/bottom mounted gc?

You can't mount them from the top. They have to be mounted from the bottom. And there is plenty of room for adjustment. I would personally replace their lowish quality hardware with something of a higher quality in terms of the allen adjustment bolts. But other than that get a set.

Here's the trick.... get them and set them all the way positive (towards the fenders). Then align the car and set the camber to -1 via the eccentrics on the struts (at the bottom). Then dial in -3 degrees via the camber plates.

Make sure you get as much caster as you can get dialed in so long as it's the same left and right.

If you have rubber in your front suspension... set up 1/8 toe on the front.

thanks tony. But GC sells both bottom mounted and top mounted plates. the top mounted are a bit more expensive. I'm just not sure of the benefits besides the $$ of either.

Unless you cut out sheet metal, you won't gain any adjustment capability with respect to any camber plate.

The factory sheet metal is the limiting factor.

And... just to be clear..... you can get pretty much all the camber you need without cutting on the strut towers.

Again appreciate the advice. Think I'm going to get a set of the gc's. This car is just too nice to put some eBay crap on em. That's fine for the chump car, but not this race car

Ok going with gc. But they have several options regarding spring size and shaft size

I have koni yellow adjustsbles, but don't know how to answer those questions. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Are the front struts stock M030 style? Or are they converted struts?

Koni Yellow = Koni 14mm shaft.

You will have to measure your spring dia. Stock springs don't work IIRC.

Do you have to get an alignment everytime you adjust the camber?
