Default Dumb KLR question

I can't recall how the vacuum line connects to the KLR. In pictures it looks like a banjo bolt of sorts. Is that correct? I am not sure if I have that any more. If I don't, is it something I can find locally easily?

Separately, do I even need to hook it up if I only want the car to idle and do low rpms so that I can get it up onto a trailer?

Is a tiny banjo bolt and there is a black threaded sleeve that attaches the line to the banjo

Thought on whether I even need to connect it given my scenario?
