Leak free at 20psi!
Just when I was beginning to think solving all the vacuum leaks was impossible on this car, the JB weld on the ISV did the trick! That and new quality clamps on everything. Pressure tested to 20psi+ (probably around 25 before I turned the regulator down on my compressor) and not a hiss!
Now to fire it up and see if I fixed the cam tower leak...

I use the same way to pressure test. Have you rebuilt the throttle body ? If not i am supprised you did not find a leak there. Very nice engine bay you have there btw.

If you're not testing pre-turbo, you're not covering all the bases. The only leaks I've ever had were on the turbo outlet, and this setup wouldn't catch that. My personal setup is a PVC cap in place of the MAF.

I dont think he uses a maf. In my experience the turbo outlet seems to be the hose having the best grip.
I have only had leaks at intercooler inlet and throttle body.

Gah have just started driving my car after an 18th month hiatus and there is a leak somewhere as I am only seeing 16 in/hg (mm/hg?). Used to be 18 at idle and 20-22 under decel, now I don't see anything above 16. Had a quick check of the vac lines, seem fine. Stupid question, I assume that for a vac leak it must be something after the throttle body (ie not turbo, I/C or related hoses?
