Question If you had Boost by gear, how would you set it up?

I may have found a way to get boost by gear via my eBoost2

On the eBoost2 i can have 4 switches, each switch triggers a set point (boost setting)
so eg:
Switch 1 = 10 psi
Switch 2 = 14 psi
Switch 3 = 18 psi
Switch 4 = 24 psi

So how would you do it?

because there's only 4 switches maximum, 1 gear would share the same boost group. So which gears would you choose for which switch? with what psi @ what gear?

I believe if i find the right switches, i may be able to get the shifter to trigger each switch per gear selection by a custom bracket.

Low boost 1st gear, slightly more in second, full boost third and fourth. That is how I achieved my best run using a single high/low switch from 12ish psi to 25 psi. I hit the high button at the top of second. With a good clutch you may get away with more in second but I doubt it due to tire spin.

That makes sense!

I could go
1st = 10
2nd = 14 and creep it up to around 16-18
3rd = the full 25

What boost controller do you run?

Email Louis at GSS Speed Shop (formerly of LG Motorsports). I was friends with him in college in our car club.
I don't know the specifics of the 944 speed sensor, but maybe he could figure out a way to adapt his box to the 944.

What boost controller do you run?
It's just an old HKS evc, just a step above an MBC. It doesn't have a solenoid, just an internal map sensor.
