Default Brake upgrade -83 NA to -86 951. Which brake hoses?

Im in the progress of building my -83 NA into a -86 951.

So im wondering about which brake hoses i can use with the -83 brake lines and -86 951 calipers?

Is there any difference in the early vs -86 brake lines?

Should i go for some sort of SS braided hoses or OEM Porsche?

Thx!

Why would you change it to an 86 set up? You would be better off going with the 87+ front spindles, rotors, hubs and keep the early arms. That will keep your offset the same and get you the nicer hub/rotor set up.

As far as I'm aware, the hoses are the same, but it may be worth changing them anyway if you can afford it.

So the NA and Turbo share the same hoses, except for the Turbo S? Or isnt that the case?

I don't know about the factory Porsche lines but for the most part, aftermarket there are 2 different style divided by year. I was looking on pelican and LR earlier. Thinking about getting some SS lines before going to the track.

looks like 88-89 time frame. LR site said there's no exact time or chasis number. You just have to look. I would imagine that you'll be fine for an 86 into 83. If for some reason you need 86 hoses send me a PM. I should have a set soon.
