Default Is my boost control working

I noticed last summer that it didn't seem I could control my boost with the Lindsey boost control. No matter where I turned the dial if I got on the gas it would always be the same thing. Is there a way to test them to see if they work?

Car is off the road on stands for the winter, trying to get all my little projects done before spring so I can drive it trouble free all summer

The boost control is a pressure regulator. Test it by connecting it to compressed air and see if it regulates the output on a pressure gauge. Any hardware/lumber store has the gauge and fittings to make the connections.

Make sure you do not have the lines to the waste gate backwards.

How the boost controller is connect depends on the type of wastegate you have. When you know the type of wastegate, do a search and there were lots of posts with diagrams on how to hook them up. They are not all the same.

Just please use an aftermarket boost gauge, not the stock one.

I checked my MBC...well took it to a shop with a compressor and regulator which I dont have at home..I think it is pooched as it seems to stay around 15psi regardless of where the controller is turned. I noticed on the LR site there is a rebuild kit has anyone used this kit?

Debating on the kit or a new MBC but I would not need all the extra parts that come with it.

Do you have the controller routed into the cab?
