Tial 38MM wastegate install questions.
I have a new 38mm Tial wastegate with adapters. The WG came with the adapters already attached. I can see a gasket between the adapter plates and WG but it didn't come with any other gaskets. Do I need 2 more gaskets to attach it to the exhaust system or should I use the old ones? I haven't taken off the stock WG so I don't know if there are gaskets or not.
thanks

No gaskets needed. Make sure to loctite the adapter plate bolts. Match the adapter flanges to the exhaust, the wastegate will have a different orientation than stock.

I also have this wastegate, how do I re-do the reli-boost and hose then? Is it possible to just swap out the old wastegate and put in the new one or do I need to re-do the lines?

This is a good wastegate. What I would do:
1)use blue loctite to hold the flange bolts to the Tial
2)remove old stock wastegate and wastegate mounting bracket(interferes with new Tial)
3)take off nipple from top of old wastegate - you will use this as your new fitting to replace the old banjo bolt
4)attach the Tial to the exhaust - the 2 flanges have different size and shaped openings - just match to the x-pipe and dump tubes.
5)plumb the Tial to a boost controller - can be done in single port or dual port fashion. Use search to find the diagrams here on Rennlist

Also, I noticed on my 38mm Tial that it has a side port and top port, does the stock wastegate have two or one? How do I make sure I hook it up right? Also, I would like to just keep the stock setup but I have a reli-boost. I would like to keep it hooked up the way it is, keep it simple. ANY pictures would help as well. The bolts are on there VERY good so I am going to get some stuff to get them un-stuck. Thanks.

Ok, now I have a SMALL problem, all of the 8 bolts that hold the WG snapped off. I got one of the ones that holds the bracket but the other one is a pita, so it will wait until then. Other then that, 6 hours for 9 bolts, that a record for me. Any ideas on how to get the bracket bolt on the passenger side? I can't quite get a good angle on it. What else do I need to take off to get that thing out of there as well? I don't know what I could take off to get it out. Maybe the down part of the exhaust that goes back to the rest of the exhaust?... Anyone?

You need to use 2 long extentions and a universal. Hard to explain, but you just have to come at them from the rear at an angle. The bracket that clamps around the torque tube will also have to come out.
Also you DO NOT want to use the stock cycling valve. You will overboost.
You want to plumb your boost controller directly to the side connection of the wastegate and plug the factory cycling valve connection at the 'J' boot.
Do a search on "cycling valve" and you will find lots of stuff.
Are you running stock chips?? You may have problems if you are.
I just installed mine yesterday, If you want me to call you, let me know.

All 8 bolts? Ever seen a can of penetrating oil? Sometimes it helps to try to loosen them also when they are warmer.
Take the top nipple off the old stock wastegate. Remove your old banjo bolt from the boost pipe to the IC. Replace it with the nipple from the old WG. Connect the reliaboost one end to that and the other to the Tial side port. Done!
