Default Size of top Strut Mounting Nut

Hey I'm at work and want to get an impact socket for this before I get home. I can't find it anywhere online.

What size is the nut? I'm talking about the one on top of the shock that you can see in the engine bay.

Thanks.

I just checked mine and they are 13mm.
this is the size of the 4 nuts that hold the strut/shock to the shock tower

and here are the torque specs

http://www.lindseyracing.com/LR/Parts/TORQUESPEC.html
if I am reading the chart properly:
the center nut should be 57 ft-lbs
the 4 nuts should be 18 ft-lbs

Hey its all in good fun reno, I don't mind being search ****'d, honestly, I've looked through hundreds of posts looking for the size of the nut, not the torque spec. Just the size of the nut, if you can find that (or any fellow lister) in a post, I'll send you paypal'd money for a beer!

Cheers.

Hey just finishing this project up as I got delayed with skiing in BC for a week, wowza! Final question from hell that I can't find in the archives. I swear to herr porsche I've searched, whats the best way to torque the top strut mounting bolt? I can get it on snug, but now the shock shaft rotates if I want to put any torque on it? Should I hold the shaft with a vice? That doesn't seem like I can get enough grip?

FWIW a google search is suggesting vice grips over an old belt to not mar the shaft. I could just blast it on with my impact gun, but that doesnt seem like the "factory" way. I also dont see any way to get a box end or offset wrench down that hole.

Maybe try one of those ratcheting strap tools that's used for removing oil filters?

I spoke with Chuck at paragon, and as I surmised, he said do not use a vice on the shaft. lol. I guess there has to be some method of holding the shaft with a 11mm wrench on top, and using some method of 22mm crows foot or something on the strut mount nut itself. I just don't see anyway of clearing the inside of the mount? Does anyone actually properly torque this nut? I will try a rubber band type clamp on shaft when I go back outside.
