Have you studied the route the belts take? It is not what I would have expected. A very complicated arrangement. But, it worked and won the most reliable award. Did not even know they had such a thing.

But I found an older book I have and it was pre scanner days so I was not able to scan and upload but can now. It has some great inside and detailed info on the 924 GTP/Le Mans with interviews of those involved etc.
Also, the 410/420hp was done on 1.1bar with the 16v head.

There is an article on a 924 Carrera GTS in this month's (December 2010) issue of GT Porsche magazine as well.
In it they claim that these cars used coilovers in the rear suspension instead of torsion bars. I've never heard or read that before, can anyone confirm or deny?
