Talking Turbo fender decal pics, please

Just wondering; anybody got a picture of a dark colored 951 with the turbo decal in the fender? Sorta like this, but on a black /dark gray / blue car:

<img src="http://www.porsche944turbo.co.uk/Cup%20pICS/NSF%20QTR.JPG" alt=" - " />
(picture from <a href="http://www.porsche944turbo.co.uk/" target="_blank">http://www.porsche944turbo.co.uk/</a> , without permission ... sorry!)

TIA! <img border="0" alt="[bigbye]" title="" src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" />

I believe it's only on one side. Here's another pic (with a very nice car btw

Interesting fact: while browsing the PET a while ago, I came across both this turbo decal, and also a similar decal saying "CS clubsport" ... in the 944 section. I wonder how that would look like!

Any idea where I could get a turbo decal and how much it would cost? I saw a car like mine with the decal ten years ago and was bitten by the bug. Ten years later I got the car - but without the decal. How's it impact the paint?

No idea about aftermarket availability, but you can probably get it from Porsche; it's option M501, "insignia 'turbo' on fender" ...

part numbers:
951.559.221.00 black
951.559.221.01 silver

... cost, who knows. I guess it's made out of unobtanium and you'll have to sell a kidney to get one

If a good one comes along, sure. And part of being "a good one" is that it's black, dark blue or some other dark color ...

PS: Someone asked how's the decal going to affect the paint.See your Porsche decal on the rear of your car for answer!

PPS.Somehow I also feel some weird attraction towards that decal too...silver should suit my car... <img border="0" alt="[bigbye]" title="" src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" />

Heheh, I just want a dark coloured car, that's all

Pete, isn't your paint somewhat close to the one on the second picture I posted? The decal looks really good on that one IMHO ... <img border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" title="" src="graemlins/bigok.gif" />

Yea, I know it isn't a dark car, but
<img src="http://home.earthlink.net/~squatch/89951graphic.jpg" alt=" - " />

I'm at work and don't have access to the archives. Later tonight I'll post a pic of a black car with the white decal. They really are a piece of cake to put on, just fidgetting with the alignment is the hard part. The only place you'll find this item is the dealer. It's really not SUPER expensive, somewhere around $100. Actually, I have a spare on a shelf somewhere, I bought it for a doorprize for the first 944fest and ended up not using it. I won't offer it for sale yet as I'm not sure of it's condition (OR whereabouts), but if/when I find it I'll let you know.
